Erotic Massage: what the word means in Poland

In Polish studios, erotic massage is the trade's own term for a slow massage of the whole body, given in a private room with low light, warm oil and music. It is a different thing from a spa treatment, a massage in a wellness hotel or a physiotherapy session. Those work on a sore back or tired legs and keep the client covered. Here the point is the atmosphere and the pace: the session is unhurried, and the touch moves across the whole body rather than one muscle group.

Most studios in this guide describe what they do with the words erotic and sensual, then list the named styles they offer. What a studio offers is what it publishes in its own listing, nothing more, and that is how this page describes each one. The therapist sets the limits of a session, and nothing is owed beyond what was agreed before it began.

The rooms are usually in apartments or small premises in city centre buildings, with a shower and either a massage table or a wide mat on the floor. An erotic massage is booked by length, by phone or a messaging app, and the details of the session are agreed at the time of booking.

Warsaw studios in Śródmieście and Wola

Warsaw has the largest choice of erotic massage studios in Poland. Most of them sit in Śródmieście, the central district, or in neighbouring Wola, a short ride west. Anahata tantra lists Mokotów.

In Wola, the late hours stand out. Sensoria on Łucka opens every day 12:00 to 06:00, and Blissful Massage Warsaw on Wolność runs 11:00 to 05:00. Salon Eden on Grzybowska stays open to 03:00 on weekdays. Touch Magic on Sienna opens Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 22:00 and closes on Sunday. MT Imperium on Kacza and Shambala Erotic Massage on Lucka keep 10:00 to 22:00 every day. Japanese Nuru Massage Studio on Mireckiego publishes different hours for each day.

For a late erotic massage after dinner or a meeting, Wola has the longest evenings.

Krakow and Wroclaw, district by district

In Krakow the erotic massage studios are spread across several districts rather than one centre. Erotic Massage Krakow Venus on Szlak in Kleparz opens 10:00 to 04:00 from Monday to Saturday and until midnight on Sunday. TK Platinum on Juliusza Lea in Krowodrza runs every day 10:00 to 05:00. Your first visit to a private studio

A private studio is usually a flat or a small room in a residential building, and the details for finding the door, such as a floor number, may be sent when you book. Arrive on time: studios often book sessions one after another, and arriving very early can mean waiting outside.

You are met at the door and shown to a room with a private shower. A shower first is standard practice before any erotic massage, and towels are provided. Many studios list e-mail as well, which suits a message sent before you travel.

No studio in this guide publishes a price, so there is no figure here. The price in zloty is given when you ask. Before you book an erotic massage, ask three things:

• The length: which session lengths the studio offers, and whether the time includes the shower.
• What the session includes: which of the styles on its menu, and whether one therapist or two.
• The price: the total in zloty for that length and style, and how payment is taken.

Two Warsaw studios, Desert Rose and Loungegardens, say in their listings that they also come to your hotel. For any other studio, ask rather than assume. A clear message with the date, the time, the length and the style you want gets the quickest answer, and the details of your erotic massage are then settled before you arrive.
